As a blogger who has just started blogging in November, everyday I’m finding new websites and information to help me craft posts together and also events to network with other bloggers. So I’ve gathered some useful fashion websites that may be handy for you and your blog.
Fashion4Media is a free news service that distributes fashion news to the media, connecting journalists and PRs. You can create your own profile and connect with other professionals and check the calender for the latest events. They also have other websites including Beauty4media and Entertainment4media.
This is one website that most people know about who are in the fashion and beauty industry. Fashion Monitor offers fashion news, contacts, events and jobs listings on a daily basis. There’s a monthly fee but will give you exclusive access to the latest in fashion and beauty.
Diary Directory is one of the biggest fashion and beauty directories founded in 1968. The website is provides a vital link for journalists, PRs, editors, stylist and etc. I have used the service before and it’s absolutely amazing. Although it costs to access the contacts, They have a daily newsletter called Diary Daily which is free to subscribe with the latest media and publishing news, editorial requests and press events.
Bipo is a brand new service that revolutionises the way press and brand communicate. They are currently collaborating with Diary Directory and offers the press search directory, image bank, lookbooks, sample requests, prices and stockist info, industry news and events and story requests.
I got invited to join the Very Blogger Network and got sent an invite to see Diana Vickers present her summer collection. Any posts that you do that features Very products can be uploaded on the website and they will tweet about it and get it out there so that people can read your post and there’s also news as well.
Best British Bloggers connects bloggers with brands and aimed at those ho are constantly seeking new ways to entertain and inform readers. The website offers sneak peaks of the latest products, invitations to exclusive events and networking opportunities. I have filled out the application to join but haven’t heard anything back yet but hopefully I do soon but give it a go and see what happens!
Last up is Next Blogger Network. It’s similar to Very and has a community of bloggers and offers the latest trend reports, invitations to exclusive season previews and collection launches, product reviews and opportunity to collaborate on exciting blogger projects. I hope you all these websites are helpful to you and your blog!
